The effects of mixed hydroxyethylmethyl cellulose and vinyl redispersive polymer on cement hydration products were investigated using X-ray diffraction, NMR,

thermal weight-differential scanning calorimetry analysis and field emission environment SEM.(HEMC)

The results show that under the interaction of hydroxyethylmethyl cellulose and the vinyl polymer,calcium hydroxide and CSH gel.

The effect of reincorporation of two polymers on cement hydration products is significantly greater than that of a single polymer, which is the superposition of single incorporation effects.

The shape of the two polymers is similar to that of the polymer

that can redisperse the polymer.These effects will inevitably have important effects on the gel hardening and strength and other properties of cement.

reduce the water absorption rate of cement mortar capillary pores, improve flexibility, adhesion and tensile strength.

Through the mixing of hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose and vinyl redisperse polymer on hydration products and morphology,

in cement slurry, hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose and vinyl can redisperse polymer interaction, one mixing of cement hydration products calcium alum, calcium hydroxide and CSH gel 1 S will have further influence.

The effect of two polymers on cement hydration products is significantly greater than that of single incorporation, which is the superposition of the effect of single incorporation.

The morphology of hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose and vinyl polymer modified cement slurry and polymer membrane structure are similar to that of monovinyl polymer redispersed polymer.
